- Print advertisements showed several rows of sample cards lined up and touted being the official card of the NHL's 75th Anniversary Celebration plus the tagline, "The Hottest Cards on Ice"
- Series 1 consisted of cards #1-345, Series 2 of cards #346-615.
- A standard pack contains 15 cards.
- CC cards of Pat Falloon and Scott Niedermayer were pulled early in production because Pro Set did not secure the neccessary permissions to produce those cards.
- #67 Adam Graves - UER: "Craig Simpson" should be "Martin Gelinas" in 4th line of text on back
- #319 1991 Stanley Cup Champions - UER: "five games" should be "six games" in 4th line of text on back
- #595 Dale Tallon - UER: The write-up on the back says Vancouver won the 1970 amateur draft lottery and chose Tallon first overall, when in reality he went second overall after Buffalo won and chose Gilbert Perreault.

According to Beckett, the HOF tribute card (#HHOF1 - Hockey Hall of Fame Collectible) was released under the Pro Set Platinum brand. It came in an 8-card cello pack which included 6 cards from the Platinum set (identical to the regular cards), the tribute card, and a header card. | ||
i m pretty sure it was not only the first pack i bought it was the only kind i was buying ,cant remember why since there was all kind at the corner store where i was going , at a later age i was going true my cards i ad 5 fuul set of those pro-set | ||
