- A standard pack contained 13 cards, one sticker and one stick of gum.
- A box contained 36 packs.
- 1989-90 Topps were produced in smaller quantities than their O-Pee-Chee counterparts.
- #33 Petri Skriko - Birthplace misspelled on back as "Laapeenranta", should be "Lappeenranta".

"If I understand correctly, it’s a set and a box that may not be worth spending $90 on, since the box is not only expensive but also has a small set of 198 cards. Seems pretty average to me."

Most of the Topps sets from the 70s and 80s are less desirable than their OPC counterparts. They are smaller sets, and it's my understanding that they generally had higher print runs. The 1989 Topps set is an exception. While it was a smaller set than the '89 OPCs, I recall reading that OPC had gone back to the presses a second time and had printed a whole bunch of extra cards, which effectively flooded the market, and made the Topps set the tougher of the two to complete. | ||
