This is a nice set but the lighting is very bad on some of these cards. I really don't see any good excuse for it.

The first “vintage” set of cards I ever collected. I started collecting in 89-90-91 era as a 11 yr old with the usual junk era, but the local card shop had these at 25¢ a common card. 18 years later I found all my old cards and started collecting again. This was the one I HAD to finish!

The first set I collected. The corner store three blocks from us had them on sale for $0.25 instead of the $0.35 on the pack. It was a great and affordable way to get introduced to the hobby!

5 years later, I went to the Pickering Flea Market and bought a pack for a much pricier $6. I had heard about people searching through and pulling out the good cards from packs and replacing them with junk.

Not in this case - I pulled an Yzerman rookie! It would probably grade at a 9, compared to the one I'd pulled five years earlier, which is probably a 1. :)
