- Mark McLemore was supposed to be card # 379, but ended up printing as # 370. (Benny Santiago is already # 370)
- Series One had a problem with color inconsistency where over two dozen cards had colors that didn't match other players on the same team. None of these issues are seen in Series Two or Traded.
- #294 Tyler Green - UER: Born in "Englewood, CO", should be "Springfield, OH"
- #310 Robin Yount - UER: 1988 triples 111, should be 11

1994 to around 2004 time frame for most card company"s , had { UV } coated on ***BOTH **** sides of the cards and to me are just junk , unless you keep them apart from each other ! SO to me I can not rate { ANY } of these years / cards more then a 1 on the scale, unless you like bricks for your cards ! I can't help to think, if these was cars, they would for sure, have been { RECALLED ! } . Rating: 1 | ||
This was the 1st set of cards that I bought when I was a young one. Since then its been a joy being stationed in different areas and going to local shops to try and finish this set as well as other sets that I have since bought. Rating: 8 | ||
Toops started getting it right with this set. The gold writing helps the card stand out from the regular version. The design got away from the thick white border. The cards are much more appealing. Rating: 7 | ||
