Bradford was a team that had at least 8 nicknames throughout their period of operation which was off and on between 1945 to 1997. Their main ground was at Odsal, Bradford. These nicknames were Bradford Boomerangs, Odsal Boomerangs (1948-1950), Bradford Tudors, Odsal Tudors (1950-1960), Bradford Panthers (1960-1963), Bradford Northern (1970-1973), Bradford Barons (1974-1975), Bradford Dukes (1986-1997). The years 1928, 1961-62 saw them operate at Greenfield Autodrome, Bradford when their nickname was the Panthers. In 1950 their nickname was changed mid- season from the Boomerangs to the Tudors.
