Each 6-disc strip was inserted inside a plastic puck. Unlike the 1984-85 pucks, there was no NHL logo stamped on the bottom, nor was there an instant prize message on the inside.

Pucks were black in colour and included a NHL Team logo sticker, intended to be stuck to the outside of the top of the puck.
