• Optus Vision Pro Squad were issued over two years: cards 1-19 in 1996 and 20-30 in 1997.
• As this set was released over the 1996 to 1997 seasons, Fitzroy had no card released for the second series after their merger with Fitzroy at the end of 1996.
• Between the 1996 and 1997 seasons Footscray changed their name from Footscray to Western Bulldogs. As such, the team listed on the reverse of the Bulldog's player card was written as 'Footscray' and on the two Bulldogs cards for the second release the team was listed as 'Western Bulldogs'.
