In Australia Garbage Pail Kids were named The Garbage Gang. Series 1 was released in 1988 (some sources state 1989) by Regina and all series 1 cards/stickers have "©1985 THE TOPPS COMPANY, INC." printed on the back due to copyright date of the artwork. The Australian versions are smaller in size in comparison to the original US versions.
