Trivia

The set was pulled off the market when MLB threatened to sue Clarence Mengler for copyright infringement.

Artist Neil Peterson, who was Mengler's college roommate, did the drawings for these cards.

Cards were issued in five series (A-E) and were originally sold for $5 postpaid per series.
