- Cards were sold as Lo-Series (1-150) and Hi-Series (1-200). The 5-card Hi-Series packs each contained two Lo-Series red foil cards, one Lo-Series blue foil card, one Hi-Series card and one "Select Company" parallel card.
- All 50 cards in the Hi-Series (151-200) were accidentally given the "Select Company" stamping and etched foil design. The base cards have a slightly different silver foil background from the "Select Company" parallel.
- Blue foil cards are short-printed and were seeded one per pack.

In the Select Company parallel, the Jeter, Griffey, and Ripken cards are significantly overproduced in comparison to other cards in the set while as many as ten red and ten blue cards (including the Thomas and Bonds) are drastically underproduced. The overproduced cards were likely intended as "Sample" cards but the wrong sheets were mistakenly given the "Sample" overprint (all known sample cards are off of the 90 card red sheet).
