The write-up on the back is incorrect. The Colts never obtained Dublinski. The Colts never traded with the Lions in January 1953. The Colts never conducted a trade at the January 1953 draft meeting. The Dallas Texans folded after the 1952 season. The Baltimore Colts were granted a franchise and the Texans assets (players). To build the team the Colts conducted a 2-for-1 trade with the Cleveland Browns in March 1953. Dick Hoerner was not part of that trade. He retired from football after the Texans folded.
