Hi .... just returning to card collecting after 64 years and ran into an article that said that the original art work for card #1 sold in 2009. It was expected to bring $ 30,000 but ended up selling for $ 84,500. It had been preserved in mint shape by a friend of the artist who had cared for it lovingly. Hope you found this as wonderful as I did
