Nice set | ||
So I gave this set a 7. I’m happy with it for the most part. Again, with this set, I feel like there are too many Inserts and the card fronts are a bit loud in design. Photos are good. But has anyone noticed that there appear to be no contact player photos. Meaning I haven’t seen one base card with a photo of the player making contact with another player. Why is this? When did football or the cards become a “bust” style way to promote the player and the team. The photos should contain real contact with opposing teams players. It’s football, not Starting Line-Up or Barbies. Another problem I have is that out of about 120 cards that I have there is not one Offensive Linemen in the almost half a set I have. Who do they think makes this game work? It’s sad on that note. I wonder if anyone else noticed these factors and feels the same way? Leave a comment and also teach me something if you know something I don’t that helps explain these traits in the 2021 Prestige set. I would give the set 8.5 or a 9 if only the cards were a little sharper or less involved design wise (more photo of the player). Plus the set being devoid of OL’s is just mind blowing to me. And the inserts could go to about half as many as there are. It’s a good set. Just not a great one. No contact cards is what I call them.
