2020 Topps Update

I find this set to be a pretty nice design on the front, but the backs of the cards are an inconsistent mess. The U-### card number varies in location from bottom right to upper left with no rhyme or reason.

Rookies class is deep like the flagship set. Additional information and trades and awards and so on are also nice. Design is okay. SP’s can be tough pulls but fun to have in addition to the base version. I gave this set a 6.5 because often Topps uses the same design in 2 or 3 sets, and that’s just in baseball. Just kinda change the sets a little between same year issue's.
Topps update set has so many doubles within the set from just opening up retail packs although, I use those doubles so no fret here.

Nice update set from Topps. I've been trying to put this together by purchasing packs when I come across them - and they aren't easy to find. Anyways, you can really tell what the short-prints of the set are. |
