In 1977 Lyausa (Mexico) issued a 66 card set comprised of the same 66 cards as the U.S. Topps set,
in the same order. The only differences are the language on front and back is Spanish, and the
card stock used is of a poorer quality then the U.S. Topps' card-stock.
there were only 2 cards in each pack
the cards were made in Mexico and shipped to the U.S. on a boat. The only boat with these cards on it, sunk at the docks.
The cards were recovered, but a large percentage of them were water damaged.
The boxes themselves were smaller than the U.S. boxes,
since the packs only had 2 cards in them.
