Trivia |
- #1 Ronald Acuña Jr. - UER: 1st line of the write-up on the back, "40-home" should be "40-home run"
- #6 Detroit Tigers - The Tigers all are wearing number 42 for Jackie Robinson Day in this photo. Their April 15 win against the Giants was the second of the three straight walk-off wins mentioned on the card. Miguel Cabrera singled in the 11th inning to score Spencer Torkelson for a 7-6 victory.
- #6 Detroit Tigers - The Tigers have no ERA qualifier listed because the MLB's qualifying minimum is at least one inning pitched per team game played on the season. Eduardo Rodriguez (3.30 ERA) led the Tigers in IP with 152.2. Among Tiger pitchers with double-digit starts, Tarik Skubal led the team with a 2.80 ERA. After undergoing flexor tendon surgery in August 2022, Skubal didn't make his season debut until July. He was named American League Pitcher of the Month in September.
- #6 Detroit Tigers - The Tigers' 78 wins was their highest total since 2016, when they finished 86-75.
- #6 Detroit Tigers - Riley Greene's home run listed as the team's longest was hit on August 10 off Minnesota's Kenta Maeda, measured at 453 feet with an exit velocity of 110.8 mph. It was the longest of Greene's career and the fifth-longest by a Tiger in the Statcast Era.
- #279 Los Angeles Angels - The photo shows Angels teammates celebrating with Mike Trout after he scored the winning run on a wild pitch to Mike Moustakas for a 2-1 win over the White Sox on June 26, 2023. (Photo by Ronald Martinez for Getty)
- #446 David Fry - Topps neglected to add the "RC" shield to this card, despite it being Fry's first major release (and as such, his rookie card).
- #555 Ezequiel Duran - The card features a pixelated Rangers logo on the back. Other Rangers cards in this set have a normal (crisp) logo.
- #600 Max Scherzer - UER: Acquired via "Trade with Rangers", should be Mets
- #620 Josh Jung - UER: 1st line of write-up on back, "NL All-Star team" should be AL
- #697 Jackson Holliday - This version of the Holliday card comes with and without the words "Saw Cut" above the card number on the back, even though the card is not cut.
