- 1988 would be the final year for the Fleer "Team Action" cards and stickers after a 13 year run from 1976-1988. In 1990, Fleer would debut their "regular", individual player cards, although they would not revive the Team Stickers.
- Is this final year, the Team Action stickers would return to having the team schedules on the back after having three years of no schedules on the back.
From 1981-1984, the team schedules were printed on the back. 1985 had a contest form on the back, and 1986 & 1987 would have candy/gum ads on the back.
