- This was the Adelaide Crows first season in the AFL. As player photos from the previous season were used none of the Adelaide players appeared in the Crows' colours. Below is a list of the Adelaide players and the clubs and league they are playing for in their sticker::
- Glenelg (SANFL): Clayton Lamb (#13), Chris McDermott (#14) and Robert Thompson (#15)
- Melbourne (AFL): Danny Hughes (#16)
- South Australia (State of Origin): Darel Hart (#17), Stephen Rowe (#18) and Andrew Payze (#22)
Port Adelaide (SANFL): Bruce Abernethy (#19), Scott Hodges (#20) and Simon Tregenza (#21)
Woodville (SANFL): Romano Negri (#23)
Geelong (AFL): Bruce Lindner (#24)
Footscray (AFL): Tony McGuinness (#25)
Central District (SANFL): Scott Lee (#26) - Ross Smith (#176) would have been most impressed with Select Australia's choice of photo for his sticker, seen outmarking arguable the greatest player of all time, Gary Ablett snr. Greg Eppelstun (#122) and Gareth John (#232) would be less than impressed seen outcontested and ball watching respectively.
