- Despite retiring during the 2003 season, Select honoured Jason McCartney by featuring him as part of the Kangaroos set (card #5) after he made a single comeback game in Round 11 after recieving horific burns in the Bali bombings in October, 2002. You can see the protective gloves and long sleeves on the front of the card, the photo being taken in the Round 11 match against Richmond in after which he retired.
