- Three TV seasons and 41 episodes are covered in this 88 card color photo set. A small yellow drawing of the Enterprise is located on the card front at the end of the caption. The card backs have the card number, the phrase "CAPTAINS LOG", plus text about the picture on the front. Also on the backs there is a drawing of the Starfleet uniform insignia above the text and a drawing of the Enterprise below the text with the name of the episode. 19 of the cards don't represent any particular episode and they state " BE SURE TO WATCH FOR THE NEW STAR TREK FULL LENGTH MOTION PICTURE ".
- On card #62, it is Gene Roddenberry's hand seen stopping and holding the Enterprise.
- For card #47, the voice of The Guardian was provided by Bartell LaRue.
