Kayou's Naruto cards are officially licensed for Chinese market.There are about 20 different boxes which share base cards, and some special cards, while certain special cards are unique to specific box.Boxes can be separated into:
- Tier 1 has 4 waves or boxes
- Tier 2 has 6 waves or boxes
- Tier 2.5 has 1 box
- Tier 3 has 5 waves or boxes and 3 blister pack
- Tier 4 has 5 waves or boxes (with variations) and 3 blister packsBase set has 110 cards which exist with variation that has mesh-like foil on the front.
Regular base cards are unique to tier 1 only which includes foil base cards as special cards. Other tiers contain foil base card variations only as regular.There are many different types of special cards, and while some can be found throughout many tiers and waves, others may be specific to a single tier wave box.All the cards have unique numbering pattern that looks like NR-x-001 where "x" stands for card type. Base cards have "R" in that place which is for Rare, or rather Regular. Other special cards that have SR, SSR, TR, OR, UR, SLR, SP, CP, GP, MR, etc. are listed under inserted sets so check there for more info about them.All the cards have rounded corners. Regular base set which can only be found in Tier 1 boxes was discontinued before all 110 cards were made, and since Tier 2 only holo-front parallel cards were printed. So base set only has 85 out of 110 cards. But parallel base set with holo-front has all 110 cards.
