Distributed in one series (#1-528). Cards were printed in two varieties, one of which contains the statement "Topps football player cards are not manufactured, sponsored, or authorized by any team or league" on the back, which are referred to as "Disclaimer Backs" in the checklist.
Topps - 1000 Yard Club
Inserted one per pack. Cards were printed with or without a disclaimer about Topps and with either one asterisk (*) or two asterisks (**) on the copyright line.
Topps - Tiffany
Official Topps nomenclature is "Collectors' Edition". These cards were printed in Ireland and feature glossy fronts and easy to read backs on white paper stock. They were issued in factory set form only.
