1985 Baltimore Orioles Postcards
Notes |
Postcards with glossy color photos on the front and a Memorial Stadium address and standard postcard format on the back. From 1981-1986, the Orioles used the same format and reused many of the same player photos in their sets, making identifying each year especially challenging. One way to tell the difference is the size of the photo within the white borders. From 1981-1983, the photos are 3/18" and from 1984-1986, the photos are only 3" wide. A second way is the position of the stamp box on the back of the postcard. When flipping the postcard directly over, the stamp box will either be in the upper left corner or bottom right corner. Stamp Box at the bottom of all the postcards, except the Al Pardo, Ken Rowe, John Shelby and Alan Wiggins postcards. The Cal Ripken Jr. postcards can also be found with an autograph stamped on the front.
