About a year ago, I rediscovered 2 binders and a shoebox full of my old childhood hockey cards. That moment instantly brought back a flood of memories and sparked something I hadn’t felt in decades — the joy of collecting.

After many years away, I started collecting hockey and football (soccer) cards again. I also collect Disney cards together with my daughter, which has become a wonderful bonding experience and a source of joy for both of us.

What began as a simple hobby has become so much more. During a difficult period of unemployment, building my collection has given me purpose, structure, and daily motivation. It’s been a positive escape, a way to challenge myself, and something that brings me real happiness in uncertain times.

Trading, organizing, and researching cards has helped keep my mind active and my spirits up. I’m always open for trades and warmly welcome any trade proposals — feel free to message me if you see something interesting!
