I think I may be missing the significance of the 406 club when the lowest count you have is 411. Either way nice collection! 👍 | ||
Other than a few Ted Williams cards managing the Senators, all cards counts are with the Red Sox. | ||
^ Especially in the age of nostalgia sets and inserts which bumps their totals, well at least Fisk’s total. Rice probably hit the 406 total available and unique cards for such a project, or came close, by the time he called it a career.

Surprisingly Fisk only had 79 Red Sox card during his playing days and Rice retired before the parallel/insert boom and only had 298 during his playing days. I still need 24 Fisk and 40 Rice from those years, although most are oddball/regional/non card items. | ||
So who's hovering near the 406 mark? | ||
Updating totals today, John Valentin (401) and Mike Greenwell (394) are closest, but I don't see too many of those guys that I don't already have. Probably the next to join the list will be Bogaerts (376) or Betts (371). | ||

Updated for end of the year totals. New dditions to the list are Mookie Betts and Xander Bogaerts, just missing by a card or two are Greenwll and Valentin. If I can pick up a handful of each this year they will be welcomed to the club! | ||

One new addition to the list this year, J.D. Martinez makes his debut with 514 unique cards . Just missing the cut are Jackie Bradley Jr at 399 cards (sure to make next years list) and Dwight Evans with 386. |
