My Hall of Famer Collection (of those who played in my lifetime).by ScottoftheBoro - 323 cards (Last updated on Nov 1, 2017) |
My HOF cards of anyone who's been inducted into the hall who played within my life. Surprisingly, the list is pretty long considering I'm only 21 (I was born at the tail end of '92).

Nice work. You gotta get you some pre-1987 cards, but this was cool. I like looking at the different ways people collect. I'd just feel too overwhelmed if I expanded beyond Topps, but it's fun to see the other brands. And while it's impressive how many cards your list turned out to be, it makes me appreciate how many more hall of famers I've gotten to watch in my 48 years on the planet and how lucky I am to have collected rookie cards of all these guys when they were nobodies. Nice list. Thanks. V3

@ Vvvergeer Thanks for the feedback. Most of the cards I have date from about 1996-present; I inherited almost complete '92 and '93 Topps sets from my old man (hence all of the '92 and '93 cards). A local card shop by me had a bunch of Topps '87 packs that I picked up over the summer, so that's where those came from. I have complete factory sets of the 1999, 2012, and 2013 Topps. Everything else that I have are random cards that I've picked up here and there since I was probably about six. I'm currently working on picking up some pre-80s cards, there's a '71 Topps Pete Rose that I'm currently eyeballing.

Nice list of some all-time greats. The '93 Topps Brett is a nice photo that illustrates his swing perfectly.

The '75 Fisk is nice. One of my favorite sets. Keep looking for 70s! v3 | ||
I actually picked up several from that '75 set. In addition to Fisk, I also nabbed Pete Rose, Reggie Jackson, and Hank Aaron. I have a few more that were re-issues Topps packaged with the '14 booster packs for their 75th anniversary. |
