One other thing I thought of: Adding teams to Trevor Bayne is going to be really interesting! He was with MWR for a few races in 2010, then with RFR for 2011-present. He was also racing NSCS for the Wood Bros. from 2010-2014. He's been in NSCS with RFR since 2015. The team listed for him is entirely based on what shows up on the cards. His 2010 cards are all MWR, but his 2011 cards are mixed b/t MWR, RFR, and WB. Then 2012 cards are mixed b/t RFR and WB. It depends on what car or uniform is on the card for his team link. At least I have extensive knowledge about his career and racing cards. I should be able to get all of them tagged right, but rare cards are going to get confusing when there are no scans.

When there are no scans, and there are none for sale on eBay or in the COMC archive I think it would be best to leave the team blank for now, it can be filled in if/when a scan is found. I was surprised to see the Prizm autograph set included Mark Martin with the Stewart-Haas team, for instance. I would not have guessed that considering he only raced for them a few weeks.  I will include Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing on my next list of teams to Admin.

I think it's OK to leave out "With Felix Sabates"...after all, we don't list the New York Knicks as the Knickerbockers or the Mets as the Metripolitans. The team in general usage- and in the team logo, most importantly- don't include Sabates.

The logo did have "with Felix Sabates" for a while. It was in the bar below Ganassi. I don't mind leaving it out though.

As I have been going through my collection and adding them to the DB I have also been adding the teams. Currently I have been working in the 2005 and 2006 racing card.  I was adding "with Felix Sabates" on those cards.  So if you see some with felix that would be my fault.  I will be sure not to add that to the cards in the future.

Thanks for the welcome, I figured now that I have a little time on my hands I can start getting this collection organized.

ajd, I have noticed you added lots of scans recently. Particularly, I'm jealous of that 2016 JJ Gold AU! :)

Billy, I just want you to know I did extensive research on the 2016 Patented Penmanship AU cards and have added teams that I know are accurate. Bobby Allison was racing for his own team b/c the photo is from his 1988 D500 win. Ernie Irvin was racing for MB2 b/c that's the only team he was on with M&M's as a sponsor. Every R. Petty card made by Panini shows him in a Petty Enterprises uniform and all of the 2016 National cards list Petty Enterprises on them. D. Waltrip and T. Labonte are both shown in their HMS uni's and are actually listed on the front as HMS.  Bill Elliott is clearly in a Melling uni. on his cards too. I just wanted you to know I have this completed so you don't mess with it OR anyone else reading this thread.
