1969 Milton Bradley Baseball Forum

Is the Milton Bradley set like most sets (not including series 2s or updates), presenting cards of the players that played the previous year? In other words, are the players featured in the 1969 MB set actually players that played for said teams in 1968? One of the players I have in mind is Bob Johnson. I have seen the picture used for him in the set without the airbrushed hat logo and it is an Atlanta Braves hat. But he played for the Cardinals in 1969. He is listed under the Braves. Am I correct in that this is correct because these players are from 1968?

Yes, he played the second half of 1968 in Atlanta.

This set's cards do not mention teams on either side, so they should all be removed.

The intention of the game cards were to be teamless. This way the game could be played year after year without having to worry the teams being out-of-date.
