I was born in 69, and as much as I enjoyed the 70s, unless this potato chip pack is unopened, I'll pass. The 80s were pretty damn cool too, but I ain't buying much from there either. I should say mid to late 80s.

Found these images of an original 1976 bag on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/124790687201?hash=item1d0e1ac5e1:g:0jwAAOSw4G9g2jkB
It doesn have the original 30 disc checklist, not that this should be taken as gospel either. It was the 70s.

I received my 1976 Crane Set today. It did include the 30 Cards minus the Harris, Plunkett, and Huff which were not in the original Set, according to ComposerMike. They were in the 1976 Buckman Disc Set. I also noticed the VARs listed without the NFLPA notation are in the Buckman Set, which does not have that notation on them. I am gueesing there is a connection somewhere with these 2 Sets that created this. I would guess there is a VAR out there somewhere for the Gabriel, Harris, and Huff which do not show a VAR but are in the Buckman Set without the notation. I am showing my Set is 30/31. I am not sure which Card is 31, but I would think since there is a pic of Harris, Huff, and Plunkett that maybe they should be included in the Base Checklist to make it a Base Set of 33. With only 1 person having all 3 of these and none to be found on eBay, I am guessing they are rare, but according to the images, there is evidence of their existence. Thanks...Hal

Each card in the 1976 Buckman's set was printed with the Crane logo on front and back, with the Buckman's disc colors, and without the NFLPA logo on front. (I don't have the Gabriel disc but I have seen it and can confirm it exists). I would consider a full set of 1976 Crane to be limited to the 30 cards in the set with the NFLPA logo, as the variations without the NFLPA logo have proven very hard to to find. One option may be to move the variations without the NFLPA logos (including Harris, Huff and Plunkett) into a different set, but I'll defer to others for a decision on that.

Not a biggie for me, but I would like to see those three moved into VARs and my 30 Card Set to show Complete. As it stands right now our Checklist shows it as a 31 Card Set, which by the information given, is inaccurate within itself. I will also defer to members with more knowledge than myself. I think it should either be a 30 or 33 Card Set. As stated the other 3 look to be impossible to track down. Thanks...Hal

Maybe those 3 were late additions / replacements or "updates"?
