Argh- sorry gents- totally forgot about this but as I'm going through the binder and laughing at my (almost complete) set - I read his article and have even been checking for the variation of front logo on lower right v. Upper left nd can CONFIRM this because (can't believe I'm admitting this) but I held on to a Vanilla Ice card ( complete with thumb tac hole) bc I just knew at 8 years old- this "joke" of a rapper would be worth something. Apparently I ticked it behind the card 145, it is card 146 and what is different is the card I saved from elementary a hook has no back logo, the middle script area is solid white (no yellow giraffe/leopard hybrid background) further it would appear the licensing belonged to Pro Set " <copywrite circle> 1991 Pro Set Inc." Vs the other cards that either have Rock Express logo followed by the registered trademark symbol or the "<copywrite symbol" _ artist name"
Before addressed it is the music card version and not the rap card nor mtv raps version as the front logo (moved) is the exact same as with other cards. If anyone knows how I can add a picture to this thread using my phone lmk unless this is useless info- in which case- as always- I apologize for the long response :)
This one of the first sets I collated to put together in a binder so it is funny seeing the "empty" slots as if I'd one day fill them :) - Mentioned bc I don't have the 89/90 card error he references but have 2 blank spots :)
Cheers!

P.S. - still going to check the box of dupes and will let you know if I find anything (in a shorter message)
