A few recent eBay listings for the 1992 Limited Editions Jeff Gordon set have changed my understanding of how the Autographed card was distributed. Apparently, it was not an insert the way we think of them today. The autographed card was not an additional card that came with random sets. Instead, in sets that included the autographed card, it was card #2 in the set. Those sets did not include the non-auto'd card #2. Based on this new understanding, I'm thinking that the autographed card should be listed in the main checklist as a VAR of card #2.
Before I submit an IR, does anyone have any additional thoughts? Opinions? Concerns?
