I've been telling people about the difference between Hobby and Retail for Absolute & Absolute Memorabilia since I joined this site. I've also been telling people on other sites for 18 years now about the differences. Some people just don't care and others have just missed the info. It sucks that people don't pay attention to the info listed on this site in the actual set listing. TCDB has the most accurate info available on the internet and people still just ignore it. As you know, the same thing is still going on with Fleer Ultra cards from the mid-2000's. Leaf Rookies and Stars is another major brand with total differences from Hobby/Retail that are only the holofoil hobby vs. no foil-coating retail version. It all started with Donruss/Leaf and I hate that Panini continued it. But they have started to move away from that. I wish all manufacturers would drop the "retail" version of ANY product. Retail-only parallels and/or inserts is okay with me, but a different base card set is extremely annoying to the entire hobby.
NO PWE's EVER!!! PLZ PM me 1st before sending any offer. ONLY selling cards as of March 2024. No trades or purchases right now.
