1968 Atlantic Oil Play Ball Contest Cards Baseball Forum

This is reference to the 1968 Atlantic Oil Play Contest baseball cards. I noticed that when I entered the Milt Pappas card in my collection, the card already listed has a different back. Mine has the photo back. Were there two different backs for each card? Just curious.

That's an unknown because of the way they were printed. The 50 subject set was printed 60 cards per sheet. So most sheets had DPs. One half of the sheet had the Rules back and the other half had the Title back. There were numerous sheet configurations to limit the number of larger prizes. Thus the large prizes would not have both backs.
