2011 Topps Inception Football #80

I don't have this set but noticed the base checklist and every parallel is missing #80. Did a quick search online and didn't see anything, and it's missing from Beckett too. What's the story on that card? ------------------------------- * Ed * L8 * Cards in my personal Collection are unavailable *

I'm going to second guess and say it was a contract issue with the player.

#80 is claimed to be Andre Johnson on several sites and CL's. But he was actually card #48. Same as Matt Schaub. So there are actually two #48 cards and no #80 card in the set or the parallels. The DUAL #48's are already listed here in the base set. Not sure if they are for all parallels, but it's late now and I'll leave that for you to check out. PM me if they are not matching the base CL and I'll get on fixing that later.

Should one of them be noted as an UER? If not then both need VAR added.

All the parallel checklists are just copied from the base checklist. If the base is wrong then all the parallels will be wrong. I would say that the Johnson card should be a UER b/c apparently it was supposed to be #80. As a UER, it would explain the missing card #80. But both #48's could technically be tagged as VAR's.
