Being fairly new to this site, I hope I'm reporting this correctly and in the right place.
I have thousands of distinct Steve Yzerman cards, currently all documented in an Excel spreadsheet, but now I'm painstakingly entering them into this great TCDB site. Along the way I'm noticing some cards I have that are not listed here, which I can probably add at a later date.
My main questions at this time are regarding the set '2011 In The Game Canadiana'.
1. The cards in the set are listed (according to Beckett) as 'Red' and 'Blue', not 'Ruby' and 'Sapphire', which may be a moot point, but in general, do you try to follow the Beckett descriptions? The Onyx set name is the same on both. I have all three of the Yzerman cards.
2. There are three levels of the 'base' cards as mentioned above, however on this site is a fourth set listed in the root folder '2011 In The Game Canadiana' with scans of all the cards except #95. These appear to be all the same 'Red' cards listed in the subset '2011 In The Game Canadiana - Ruby' and therefore I believe are duplicates, since I believe there are only three subsets, not four.
3. None of the cards in these three sets actually has a serial number (at least my Yzerman cards do not), so I'm wondering if the notes should just say 'PR180' instead of 'SN180' (using the Red set as an example) as I've seen with other similar sets in the database.
I'm still learning my way around and having fun with the site, and have actually made a few successful trades to date!
I'd appreciate your comments on the above.
Thanks!
