budler - "Why would you want people who sells cards only be allowed to input prices. They are tring to get the most money for each card. Buyer oon the other hand are tring to get cards for the lowest price. "
If the seller put sin the price, then they are able to do this without any bias on shipping (I know it has been seperated). They would be able to put in (IMHO) a more accurate price on the cards they sell.
For example I just bought a partial 1990 leaf set (baseball) at an auction for $10....should I go through and put each of those cards at 5-10 cents now? or when I break it up and try to sell them individually, put what they sell for?
Was just a thought....I see what you are saying as to the sellers putting in the high prices, but when we go to buy, we would know if we are getting a good deal......
Actually....thought just occurred while typing that.....what about adding an addition field to the price input of B/S (Bought/Sold) and that way it grasps both ends of the spectrum......Hey, I just bought this Gretzsky rookie for $20 and was able to sell it for $1500. Averaging the last 5 of each of those might give a more balanced price?
(my random thoughts on pricing)
