1998 Playoff Absolute SSD Hobby Football Forum

I noticed that both the 1998 Absolute Hobby and the Retail sets have an insert set "Shields". These seem to be the exact same cards for both sets. PSA master player sets require only "1998 Absolute Shields". The one image uploaded here to both sets looks to be the exact same card.

I have some of these and don't know which set to put them in. If I add them to both sets, my card count will be off.

Suggestions?

Is there a reason for Hobby and Retail to have completely separate listings?  Should one be a parallel set under the other?

There is actually a difference between the sets. According to Beckett, the retail version had an additional die cut piece on the lower left corner. The COMC site has examples of both. The retail scan posted here is incorrect. 

Tom is correct, they're parallels. The only diffference is in the card design (die cut) and not in the card numbering/players.

Admin needs to be notified so they can be merged as Base/Parallel sets. Along with Playoff Momentum and Playoff Prestige which have the same problem.
