Yes. Collector's Edge was the first company to imprint actual Serial Numbers on their cards instead of printing "1 of xxxxx". That practice kept them in business until about 2002 or 2003. Their closure created a ton of problems in the market later though. MANY of their assets got released into the market that had no serial numbers on what should have been a serial numbered card. The same thing happened a few years later with Fleer products when Upper Deck bought their assets and again most recently with Press Pass Inc. when Dave & Adam's Card World bought their assets.
