1993 Topps Baseball Forum

Many times going through my collection, and adding cards to it I have been confused by this particular Black Gold Winner Redemption. It was this evening that I realized what it was that was confusing me. It is an UER, and listed as such. So this is my question. Shouldn't the players pictured on the card have there names linked to the card and not the players that you would have actually received from the exchanged? Or is the way it is linked now correct? I wanted to ask before I put in an IR for something that may be done correctly.

It's as if they put the photo of the wrong player on the front - the card is still for the player named (and in this card Group C's players), and not for the player mistakenly shown.

Therefore, the card is listed per TCDB's guidelines.

And thanks for asking before making changes or even requesting them. It's better to be able to discuss this openly so others may see the guidelines in play.

 Crazy coincidence! I came to post two questions about the same series of cards and one was about this exact redemption set (btw I pulled the A/B and A/B/C/D but can clearly do nothing with them nearly 20 years later) Anyway I just opened two 1994 box sets today to check the inserts. Anyway my other question is card specific so I'll stop but had to post because the odds of seeing the first post about the same thing from so long ago was pretty impressive.
