2021-22 SkyBox Metal Universe Hockey Forum

ok, the cards in the base set are shiny with the universe/space background,

& there are Blue Spectrum set with a shiny blue background,

& there are these cards: plain/non-shiny with a non-shiny blue background, which i guess are part of the base set,

so, question: why are there these non-shiny/blue background cards in the base set at all, when other base cards are shiny with a fancy space background? So weird!
