Haven't found a good source for this yet, what is the difference between the base and the Retail parallel? I found packs at Walmart, I would assume that's the retail and hobby boxes would provide what is listed as the primary base here, any other details that can be shared?

Last year's was the color of the name/team printing. Retail was very dark blue.

The hobby this year is gold with gold trim in the team name, RC designation, and name block.  The retail is blue foil for the team name, RC designation, and around the gold name block.  The retail is also of thinner stock.

Looks like all the images in the base checklist need to be moved to Retail

Is the retail blue or black foil? I Got one from a friend and the foil is absolutely black. The retail scans appear to be black as well but I am well aware how difficult it is to scan foil. There is no serial number so it's definitely not the Black Ice parallel. It's also thin card stock. 

I believe it's the retail card, and that our Release Notes are incorrect, however, since football is not something I have a lot of knowledge of, in fact this is my only card from the set at all, I can't be sure.

Hi Billy. After reviewing a number of cards, I can say ... I'm not exactly sure. I think it's a very dark blue foil, but it certainly appears black, especially in low light. Turning the card to see how  light reflects, on a couple of spots it reflects blue, in others the reflection is the team color. I can tell you this, it is absolutely retail, as I bought the packs retail. And if hobby box is gold, then from our description, neither of us have hobby cards. I would believe we are describing the same cards, with nuances that are in the eye of the beholder.
