Last week I picked up a box of 2022 Opening Day and opened it with my boys. We were on the hunt for some mascot cards, and their reactions were priceless! It reminds me of when I was opening packs at their age, but I can't imagine finding one of my furry friends in there!

Hopefully a little reminder of the joy that we all have experienced in our collecting journey along the way (and to find ways to share it with others).

The San Diego Chicken card from the Cal Ripken RC Donruss set was a hard pull ... and it seems people get them graded too. Didn't Youpie transfer to the Canadiens? ------------------------------- I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I have the Chicken cards signed on three different cards and an 8x10. He was huge back in my day!
