663 Cards total i this set?

Hello,

Just wondering, since there are three cards in the base set that are the same number but two different players (658, 659 & 660), should the total number of cards reflect 663 instead of 660?

I am a set collector and just recently opened my factory set and I had two each of the numbers I mentioned. I know there are other cards with double numbers like the Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Schmidt cards, but I am strictly talking about the base set in this case.

They were variations only available in factory sets, and they are treated like the other "alternate player" VARs within the rest of the set, which leaves the total cards at 660.
