How long after the cards are released are their sets included into the database? Been over a week since release and still not up there yet. Just curious is all. Once I buy, I like to input cause I'm weird and impatient like that... LOL! Thank you!

If it's a set with VARs, SPs, SNs, etc, they are probably doing it right and waiting until they have ALL the info before uploading.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

It's a crowd-sourced site. This stuff isn't instant

I'm not complaining whatsoever. I was just curious of the process in which it occurs. Another question if you have a moment to answer? I see that some of my collection has average mean Values listed, and was wondering how I could go by getting all my cards to list mean average values

Again, prices are reported by members. If no prices have been reported for a card, no pricing info displays. And only actual sales are to be reported.

So why would 2020 panini playbook have a database to add my cards yet not playoff? Playbook doesn't get released until January yet playoff was released almost 2 weeks ago

Because individual users upload checklists. It isn't an owner operated site. It is crowd sourced. Panini does a dreadful job of publishing accurate checklists, so it isn't a matter of just typing one from their website and uploading it here. For example, almost every insert week have a player initial dash abbreviation of set info numbering system, but the panini list only shows the cards as if they card numbers. Once a list is ready ther details need to be right to upload the checklist. It is a lot easier to get the whole thing right than to fix dozens of errors after the fact.
So, why is there a list for a product that isn't officially released? Someone spent time researching and building that list and then uploaded it.

Not only does Panini use card numbers (1, 2, 3, etc) on all their checklist even when the actual cards may have letters (RW-JS, RW-JB, etc). They also separate checklists. For example, if the base is 300 cards; e.g., 1-100 veterans, 101-200 retired, 201-300 rookies; they will list them as separate checklists instead of one base checklist. They do the same with parallels and inserts. Some members don't realize this and don't combine checklists where they need to be.
Base checklist is now uploaded: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewSet.cfm/sid/254826/2020-Playoff

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
