I was introduced to this set by an IR from styxscottii. Being a Seattle guy I had to have it, not to mention the set includes my PC guys Griffey, Edgar and Gary Payton. It is a Topps charity set for Seattle Children's Hospital and I had some questions wondering if anyone can help me with some insight.
First, all of the baseball players, all team names and logos have been Photoshopped out. I don't understand why Topps would need to remove them when they have the MLB license. Is it because it is a charity set and not a MLB set?
Second, they included NBA, WNBA and NFL players with logos removed. Does this mean Topps was given a 1 time OK from the player associates like UD when they did their 2010 Athletes of the World sticker auto dump? I would be cool with Topps having a NBAPA and NFLPA license. It works for Panini and MLB.
This is a picture of the complete base set that I pulled from eBay. I have 2 boxes coming my way (Thank you Scott).

If they were photoshopped the logos, team names, license and copyright stuff, I would say that's a locally made charity set done without Topps or the leagues authorization, but the Topps name is on the front and the copyright on the back. As you said, Topps got the licence and would not need to hide everything. I suspect that Topps made it by asking individual permission from each player and by keeping license fees minimal (nothing for the league) to keep as much money as possible for the charity.

Can't answer your questions, but that is a cool set. I would love if Big Slick KC did that next year for their benefit for Children's Mercy in Kansas City. They usually have a ton of celebs in town for various events, so a card set would be awesome.

Royal Card Review is my blog if you feel like checking it out, thanks if you do!- royalcardreview.blogspot.com/ In the process of updating my collection so don't trust any of my lists right now.

Topps has the MLS license too, but Frei is angled so photoshopping probably wasnt necessary (maybe a sleeve patch).

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

With all the athletes in this set, why is it listed as Non-sport? It was also listed under the Comics category.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I listed under non-sport because other sets listed that feature sport and non-sport cards are listed under non-sport.

If the kids are the focus of the set, it does make sense.

Another interesting feature of this set is the numbering system. All cards are numbered SCH-x for Seattle Children's Hospital. However several of the card numbers correspond to the actual players number. R. Wilson, D. Wilson, Martinez, Morris & Payton among others.
