These phone cards were not associated with the 1993 Finish Line racing trading card release. Beckett lists these as 1994 Series 1. I doubt that the phone cards would have been made by Pro Set.

For reference, here is a series 1 card in the original retail packaging:

And for comparison, here is a series 2:

I see that svenny has a couple cards from this set in his collection. Maybe you could send him a PM in case he's not watching the forums. He doesn't have a scanner, but he has sent me photos of cards in the past to help with various research.

I had always assumed Finish Line was Pro Set, not that I can say for certain that is true. Not sure if there was some different arrangement for the calling cards sold individually under that name vs. inserted into packs. Logo is the same though.
And Tom, I have finally invested in a scanner, so I can start to get images of all these oddball racing cards up eventually.

That's close Billy, but your scan is of a Series 2 card (SN1800). The question at hand is about the Sereis 1 cards (SN5000)

The old descriptions in Beckett say that the 1993 Finish Line cards were made for Finish Line by Pro Set, not that Finish Line was a Pro Set brand. Also, for the 1994 set, Beckett states that Finish Line made their own cards for the first time. So I don't think there was an ownership relationship between the two companies, just a contract to produce a set of cards.
I look forward to seeing your scans Andy!

Thanks for the clarification Tom. I will see if I can dig some of these out in the next few days and add some scans.

Scans are up. Nothing about Pro Set on the back of the cards.
