Correct year of production?

From what I've gathered, this card was not actually printed in 1981, it is a bootleg/unlicensed card that was printed sometime later. This is also true for the 1980 Greensboro card:

I have not filed an inaccuracy as I don't definitively know what the correct years should be. Anyone have more insight into this?

I'd have to agree that they're probably counterfeit promos printed years later to cash in on his fame. ------------------------------- *Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.*

The dead giveaway is that these are always the one huge MLB star from the team, never some random SS who peaked at AA.
