2020 Topps Utz Baseball Forum

   Is anyone else impressed with the design of the 2020 Utz baseball set?

I actually do not understand the point of the card. If you look at previous promo sets ( ie Kmart - 1st that came to mind ), there is NO DOUBT what those cards were promoting or where they came from. By not displaying the company logo on the front, the whole marketing plan has been soundly defeated .

I like promo sets, I REALLY LIKE food issue odd ball stuff, but this card is not one of them.

I didn't care for last year's set because it was identical to the Topps flagship set with only the addition of the Utz logo on the front.

This year's is a different design than the flagship but has no Utz logo.  I like the simplicity of the design, though.

I also love food/brand promo cards.  I'm going to Massachusetts next week.  Any suggestions on where to find the UTZ cards?

I was just on the east coast a couple weeks ago, and looked for Utz chips with cards, but never saw any.  To answer the question, I think they look great.

Looking at the cards and their numbers, shouldn't the UTZ be listed before the numbers?  To me it looks like the card number should be UTZ 1, UTZ 2, and so on much like the Update cards of topps would be U1, U2 (sorry Bono), or whatever they use to number them now.

As for the design, I do like them, but I agree that the UTZ logo should be on the front of the card.  Are they still in packages, because some of the scans are from March, so maybe they stopped selling the bags they were packaged in.

I'm in Raleigh NC and have been looking for these cards since I saw the original post ....... I can't find any UTZ products featuring basball cards. 

I can see the "UTZ" being a prefix.
