I noticed that there are boxes, packs, and lots of singles already being sold yet the officialy release date is tomorrow. Is this a common thing? I have never cared about release dates but have been looking forward to this year's Stadium Club.

It wouldn't be unsurprising if some of the drealers already busted some of their stock open and jumped the gun. Wouldn't be unsurprising if it was on purpose in order to try and corner early sales and maxmize the rush. Some retailers may have put it onto the shelves a little early too. Has happened before.

I found the subject line amusing since Stadium Club was originally slated for a June release.
I'm looking forward to getting my hobby box (and maybe a Trout auto?) a few packs and putting together/trading for a complete set. I remember Stadium Club from years past but when I got the Royals cards in the 2016 set I said: Wow! Really fell in love with the cards and now have put together a complete (base) set from 2014 on.
Thanks to everyone for all the trades that made that possible.

I'm just going to buy the complete set. I'd love to bust a box and build by hand, but it would take at least 3 boxes to do that. And with boxes running at least $120 and sure to shot up to over 200 like Bowman did, yeah.......

I bought 2 boxes from DACardworld but I haven't even received a shipping notice yet. EDIT: I got the notice today so hopefully the boxes will be here by the weekend!
I love the design this year and plan to build a complete set. If I can find some retail I will also pick some up

Had never ordered from a dealer directly before so after seeing your post I placed an order with DACardWorld as well, might as well try it out.

Wow, I was bang on without looking. $120/box and at least 3 boxes to complete assuming ideal collation. Hvae fun, I love ripping packs, but I'm gonna cheap and let eBay be my friend.....
Edit: Especially when the set pre-sells are less than the price of one box.

Normally I would have gone that route but I love the design this year and it's been a while since I opened a hobby box. Hopefully I hit the big rookies so picking up the remaining base cards won't be expensive

I always open 3 Hobby Boxes. Love the photography of the set. Always am missing a few after opening these though. Will be looking to trade to finish the set.

Retail seems to have it's own release date too. Plenty of times I'd see a card product on shelves at Walmart or Target a week before it was set to release. Granted that was before cards only spent minutes on the shelf before being cleared, and when I could actually go into a store and buy cards.
