2018 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball Forum

Should the subset or insert (not sure correct term) of the 2018 topps clearly authentic reprint autographs have an “AU” next to the cards like they currently do or should the “AU” be removed since they are just reprinted autographs. I was under the impression that the symbols “AU” was for a real signatures only. Maybe I am misunderstanding the set or the symbol... any help would be appreciated. 

The cards are reprints of "famous" cards of the subjects, typically rookie cards.  The autographs are real.
